1. Who You're Working With
RankNova Labs is operated by Piyush Kataria, registered as a sole proprietorship in India. Use of this website or engagement with our services constitutes acceptance of these terms.
2. Engagement Scope
Each engagement is governed by a separate Statement of Work (SOW) signed by both parties. The SOW supersedes any general descriptions on this website. Pricing on this site is indicative; final pricing is confirmed in the SOW.
3. Payment Terms
- One-time projects: 50% advance, 50% on completion. Invoiced via Refrens (India) or Wise (international).
- Retainers: Monthly in advance, payable within 7 days of invoice date.
- Late payments: Work pauses on day 8 of non-payment. Late fee of 2% per week after day 14.
- Refunds: Non-refundable for completed work. Pro-rated refunds available for unused retainer days only.
- GST: All India prices are exclusive of GST. GST charged where applicable.
4. Minimum Commitments
Retainer engagements have a minimum commitment of 3 months (single-discipline) or 6 months (combined/fractional). This is to allow the methodology time to compound. After the minimum, engagements continue month-to-month with 30 days' notice for termination.
5. Deliverables & Timelines
Deliverables and timelines are specified in the SOW. Delays caused by client unresponsiveness (missing access, delayed feedback, slow approvals) shift timelines accordingly. We will flag any timeline risk within 48 hours of identifying it.
6. What We Don't Promise
We do not guarantee specific keyword rankings, traffic numbers, lead volumes, or revenue figures. Search algorithms change. AI engines update. Markets shift. What we promise is best-effort senior practitioner work backed by 12+ years of measurable outcomes — but no honest consultant guarantees outcomes, and you should be wary of any who do.
7. Intellectual Property
Work product delivered to you (strategies, audits, reports, content, code) becomes your property upon full payment. Our proprietary frameworks (e.g., G.R.O.W.T.H Engine) remain ours and we may reference them in future engagements. Anonymized case study use is permitted; named case study use requires your written permission.
8. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public information shared during the engagement. NDAs are available on request and are signed standardly for clients in regulated industries.
9. Industries We Don't Serve
We do not accept engagements in: life insurance, health insurance, general insurance, mutual funds, banking, NBFCs, lending, broking, fintech-lending, wealth management, financial advisory. This is a personal conflict-of-interest policy.
10. Limitation of Liability
Our maximum aggregate liability for any engagement is capped at the fees paid by you to us in the preceding 6 months. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Gurugram, Haryana. For international clients, optional arbitration is available on mutual agreement.
12. Changes
We may update these terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated to active clients via email. Continued engagement constitutes acceptance.
