1. Who We Are

2. What We Collect
We collect only the data you explicitly give us. That includes:
- Contact form data: name, email, phone, location, company, service interest, budget, message
- GEO Score Tool data: website URL, responses to 8 diagnostic questions
- Standard server logs: IP address, browser type, referring URL — retained for 30 days for security
- If we work together: project-related data necessary to deliver the engagement
We do not use behavioural cookies, third-party advertising trackers, or social media pixels on this site. Analytics, when used, are privacy-respecting (Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization or Plausible).
3. How We Use It
Your data is used strictly for:
- Responding to your inquiry
- Delivering the engagement you sign up for
- Sending you the GEO Score PDF report you requested
- Occasional newsletter (only if you opt in — we do not auto-subscribe you)
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.
4. Who Sees Your Data
Only Piyush Kataria (the consultancy founder) and any contractor formally engaged on your project. The data lives in:
- Email inbox (Google Workspace)
- CRM (Notion / encrypted spreadsheet)
- Server logs (Hostinger), retained 30 days
5. Your Rights (DPDP Act 2023 & GDPR)
You can, at any time:
- Ask us what data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct or update it
- Ask us to delete it (we will, unless we have a legal obligation to keep it)
- Withdraw consent for any future communications
Email leads@ranknovalabs.com with the subject "Data Request" and we will respond within 7 business days.
6. Data Retention
Inquiry data: retained for 24 months from last contact, then deleted. Active client data: retained for the duration of the engagement plus 36 months for tax and legal compliance, then deleted.
7. Security
HTTPS site-wide, secure server, password-protected email. We will never ask for your bank credentials, OTPs, or sensitive personal identifiers (Aadhaar, PAN) over email. For invoice payments, we use Razorpay (India) or Wise Business (international).
8. Changes to This Policy
If we materially change this policy, we'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top and email active clients. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
